What is Google Apps for Education?
Google Apps is now available for students and teachers in grades 6-12. Teacher and student usernames and passwords are stored on the shared curriculum folder that all teachers have read rights to: \\wanserver08\curriculum&instruction. There is a Google Apps folder and the information is in there. All usres will be prompted to change their password on the first login.

It is a free suite of hosted communication & collaboration applications designed for schools. For example Google Docs, the word processing application gives others access to the same document; students to work on the same document at the same time from anywhere in the world.
